Saturday 11th December – Biodynamics for our School Community – Motueka Steiner School

The Kete Ora Trust has generously granted the Motueka Rudolf Steiner School Trust funding to offer 8 community workshops in the use of practical biodynamics in home gardens, marae, market gardens, farms, schools at the Steiner School Farm. The tutors are all highly experienced farmers and gardeners who will guide you through the hands-on learning. This is the second in the series of workshops.

This workshop is led by led by Dieter Proebst: Master of Science; Diploma in Permaculture Design with a career as  forester, nurseryman, farmer, orchardist, land-use consultant, tutor, author, long- standing biodynamic grower, advisor and former Demeter Inspector

Theme: Farm Individuality and the Farm-organism – underlying philosophy and practical approaches. How to understand and work with the landscape, earth, water and all living beings on the farm. Combined with a walk on the farm, visiting the different areas and their potential use for the farm.

In the afternoon, there will be a interactive biodynamic compost making workshop
