Harvests Magazine

Harvests is the official magazine of Biodynamics New Zealand (Biodynamic Farming and Gardening Association) and is published twice yearly: Spring/Summer edition (released in Oct/Nov) and Autumn/Winter edition (released in April).

Submissions

We welcome stories, features and images relating to biodynamic farming and gardening and affiliated subjects. It’s best that you send a query letter first (see below for contact details).  Submitting content implies that you understand and accept that your work may be edited, or held over until a later edition if there are space constraints.

Our editor assesses all contributions for suitability. If your story is not accepted for publication, we will inform you.

All Harvests contributors are acknowledged in the magazine but we regret that we cannot pay you for your work.

Advertising

We welcome your advertisements in Harvests but given the special nature of this publication, we are selective about who we approach and accept. We  appreciate the support of all our advertisers and we encourage our members and other readers of Harvests to do the same.

By advertising in Harvests, you’ll reach people strongly committed to healthy, ethical and sustainable living, who make spending decisions accordingly. As the bulk of our readers are members of the Association, the magazine is read thoroughly and has a long shelf life.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions to Harvests are an automatic benefit of Biodynamics New Zealand membership. It’s not currently possible to subscribe to Harvests without being a member.  However, there are plenty of good reasons to join us! Check them out here.
