Biodynamics Conference 2023

Biodynamics and You

We’re so excited to announce this year’s Biodynamics Conference – Biodynamics and You.

It’s been a few years since we have been able to do a full in-person conference and we can’t wait to gather together, and inspire each other to bring more biodynamic philosophy into our life and gardens.

We’ve brought speakers from all around the country and Australia! All joining together for your benefit, education and enjoyment in the Manawatū this May.

Join Biodynamics New Zealand with speakers; Charlie Arnott, Gary Williams, Kaitlyn Lamb, Monique Macfarlane, Cathy Tait-Jamieson, Peter Bacchus and Andrew Criglington.

Friday the 19th of May – Pre-Conference Introductory Workshop.

This informative, accessible day workshop will be led by Rachel Pomeroy and Katrina Wolff, at Woodhouse Farm Organics, Kairanga, Palmerston North.

More Info on the Pre-Conference Workshop

Saturday the 20th of May and Sunday the 21st of May

The conference will include a range of fascinating speakers on different topics, including Charlie Arnott from Australia sharing tales and learnings from his Regenerative Podcast and his journey of converting his family farm to Biodynamic and plans for a new Biodynamic education centre; Gary Williams discussing how we relate to waterways and the relationship of regenerative agriculture to the waterways; Dieter Proebst exploring the relationship of Biodynamic and Permaculture; Cathy Tait-Jameson exploring a journey from Biodynamics to kaupapa Maori, and reflections from Kaitlyn Lamb and Monique Macfarlane

There will also be opportunities to take part in group discussions and open spaces, and yoga, meditation and music will also be offered. There will be great food, specialist teas and coffees, opportunities for networking and connection with other members from around the country, and the chance to take part in the BDNZ AGM. All this within the Manfeild Conference Venue and Agricultural centre in Feilding, Manawatū – a short drive from Palmerston North, which is accessible by air, rail and road.

Early bird admission for the conference ranges from $390 – $340 for the weekend (including introductory workshop) or $310 – $270 for Saturday/Sunday, with options to just come for one of the days.
