Coromandel workshop
A workshop demonstrating how biodynamics can be practically used in our gardens, orchards and farms to grow strong, healthy plants and animals and high quality food, will be held on Saturday 7 February at 2628A Rings Road, Coromandel.
Workshop presenter Peter Bacchus is a life member of the Association and has a wealth of experience and wisdom to share.

9.00 Welcome, participator introductions and Introduction to Biodynamics
9.30 Interplay of dark and light in plants – when to use the biodynamic preparations 500 and 501, growth and differentiation, calcium and silica
10.30 Morning tea
11.00 Plant observation and protecting them against pests and disease
12.30 Shared lunch – bring a plate
1.30 – 2.00 How does biodynamics produce better food?
If there is sufficient interest, this will be followed by regular meetings every 1 – 2 months.
The next meeting will be in March at the Coromandel Community Gardens, focusing on building fertile soil.
